SOILSCAPE Open Call webinar for UNESCO network and international stakeholders

The UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe is pleased to invite you to an online information session on Thursday 3rd of July 2025, 14.30-16.00 CET introducing the SOILSCAPE Open Call and how to apply.

The SOILSCAPE project is funded by the EU and co-funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) under Horizon Europe (Grant Agreement no. 101156511), in which UNESCO is a partner.

The SOILSCAPE Open Call  aims to incentivize the integration of arts, arts-based, and creative approaches to increase soil literacy, raise awareness and engagement with soil and its preservation

A total budget of €2,010,000 is available through this scheme to support individual applicants and small consortia (up to three partners) under two funding categories. The deadline for applying to the SOILSCAPE Open Call is September 30, 2025.

A series of Information sessions have been planned to provide information about the Open calls. This Information session targets international art-soil stakeholders, including UNESCO networks.

Webinar Agenda: 

  • 14.30-14.45 – The SOILSCAPE project – Overview of objectives, consortium partners, results and current status.
  • 14.45-15.00 – The SOILSCAPE Open Call – A summary of the Open Call scheme, budget, timeline and eligibility. A more detailed look at the two funding categories: SOILSCAPE FSTP and Soil Orchestra FSTP.
  • 15.00-15.30 – How to write a successful proposal – Guidance on application structure, breakdown of the proposal, proposal budget, formatting, and expert tips and recommendations.
  • 15.30-16.00 – Q&A session.
