Right in the heart of the SOILSCAPE journey, this phase reflects the ambition to communicate the importance of soil in a way that resonates with people across Europe. The team of SOILSCAPE works together to create a metaphorical language for soil, one that blends science with cultural and artistic expressions, acknowledging the complexities of human values and behaviours around soil. Building on this foundation, innovative communication campaigns and initiatives will be launched including documentaries, podcasts and social media campaigns, bring soil and art stories to life. As the project progresses, attention turns to the annual Soil Festivals held in Bulgaria, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Switzerland  – a celebration uniting people from all backgrounds to engage with soil meaningfully.

Through festivals, workshops and creative performances, SOILSCAPE works to embed soil awareness into daily life, fostering a shared commitment to caring for the soil that sustains us all.
