About the Information Session
UNESCO and REFRAME.FOOD are organising an online information session to connect SOILSCAPE Open Call coordinators with UNESCO networks and designated sites across Europe and the Mediterranean. The session will showcase opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange and capacity building to strengthen soil literacy initiatives.
REFRAME.FOOD will provide an overview of the ongoing work supported through the SOILSCAPE Open Calls, while UNESCO will introduce relevant scientific and cultural programmes and networks. Representatives from selected UNESCO-designated sites will share practical examples of community engagement and place-based approaches that can inspire and support the development of local soil awareness activities.
If you are interested to join the Information Session, contact us at soilscape@opencalls.fund
Expected Outcomes
Participants will gain practical insights into engaging UNESCO networks and designated sites, learn from successful community-based initiatives and explore opportunities for partnerships and joint actions. The session will foster dialogue between SOILSCAPE project coordinators and the UNESCO community, helping to strengthen the long-term impact and sustainability of soil literacy initiatives across Europe and beyond.
